The Brighton Coffee Guild is completely free for both our Graduates and Guild Businesses. At Pro Baristas, we believe that great coffee starts with great people—and that means giving our graduates the opportunity to work in an environment that values fairness, opportunity, and integrity. This means that in order to join the Guild, we need your business to meet our three eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
All your employees must receive a written contract stating their job role, contract type & pay rate.
All your employees must be paid at least the National Minimum Wage.
All your employees must be treated respectfully and equally no matter their ethnicity, sexuality, gender or religion.

You don’t need to worry about recruitment anymore. We support hundreds of job seekers every year, and through the Brighton Coffee Guild we can connect you with just the right people by matching your businesses needs to our jobseekers.Ongoing support for your baristas!
If you hire a Pro Baristas Graduate, we can provide any support you need, be it latte art or customer service! You’ll gain access to ongoing support for your baristas, whether that is more training with Pro Baristas or just one to ones with us to ensure that things are going smoothly. We understand that sometimes the fast paced environment of hospitality might be hard for new baristas, that's where we can help.Community impact!

During your time at Pro Baristas, we get to know you, your skills and your needs. The Guild is designed to continue to support you after you’ve graduated from one of our courses.

You must have completed our Intro course
Once you have completed our Intro course, we will add you to our Guild emailing list that you can unsubscribe from at any time.You must give us monthly updates on your work status
Keeping in contact with you allows us to give you the support that you deserve in your coffee journey! We also want to support ethical hiring practices in Brighton, and are aware that sometimes the fast paced environment of hospitality can make that hard. That’s where we come in for support.You must exemplify PB’s commitments to quality and community
